Hi, I'm Sammy

I specialise in Sports Massage Therapy and hold a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy from the Oxford School of Massage. I am a fully accredited and insured member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. I am able to offer Kinesiology Taping with Rocktape for pain management and injuries. I have recently qualified as a Level One NAT Practitioner to increase my knowledge and understanding of Trigger Point Therapy and completed a Level 5 Certificate in Dry Needling. I am hoping to attend a osteopathic mobilisation technique course next year to be able to include these within treatments for my clients. Expanding my knowledge and skillset to better benefit my practice and get you on the mend is something I will always continue.

My mission is to support and help individuals who are experiencing pain due to postural imbalance, dysfunction or injury, and to identify and address the origin of discomfort to alleviate their symptoms and return them back to full optimum functionality, safely and efficiently.

I developed an interest in anatomy from a young age and previous training and education in Dance. My interest in biomechanics and Soft Tissue Therapy and its many benefits started following injury to my knees which led to surgery whilst studying a BA (Hons) in Dance at the University of Chichester, followed by a more recent injury gained through calisthenic work and inversion training. So I have experienced first hand how manipulative soft tissue therapy can have such an impressive positive effect on the rate of recovery from an injury. I feel so fortunate to now be able to help make that difference to others.

I've always led an active lifestyle, usually within the confines of a dance studio and onstage, but I have more recently been converted to the great outdoors. My partner and I, along with German Shepherd, Loki, have a tendency to spend forever walking, exploring, scrambling and climbing in beautiful places such as Snowdonia and the Highlands, no matter the weather.

I am able to offer appointments from my treatment room at home in Whitehill, Bordon, as well as being able to come to you and treat you in the comfort of your own home.
